Sunshine Jiu Jitsu is a large to medium size club with a strong core group of coloured belts on the mat. We also have a proud competition history and seek to nurture many future champions. We are a very welcoming club with a family style environment. Our members are very friendly and look to assist with each others development for the good of all involved.

Arif Mustafa Head Instructor
Arif has been training Jiu Jitsu for many years as well as having many years experience in Olympic Freestyle wrestling and Shoot fighting. Arif is one of Peter De Been's most dedicated students and takes private lessons weekly in order to ensure he passes on the most pure and technical Jiu Jitsu possible. Arif is also a highly decorated trainer having a vast wealth of experience in training athletes to achieve their highest levels.

Monday
6:00pm to 7:30pm
Supervised Free rolling. An open mat style that often feels like a private lesson with targeted instruction
Tuesday
6:00pm to 7:00pm
Boxing, Kickboxing and Muay ThaiCome and train with some of our champions!
7:00pm to 8:30pm
Warm up, Technical jiu jitsu and drills, finishing with some free training. With more of a class atmosphere this is an important group lesson in the week
Wednesday
6:00pm to 7:30pm

Thursday
6:00pm to 7:00pm

NEWSNSW State Titles
Sunshine Jiu Jitsu would like to formaly congratulate Abbey Desta and Christian Walkerden on flying up to Sydney to compete in the NSW state titles held 20th of June and representing Sunshine and Peter De Been Jiu Jitsu
Abbey fought a hard fight against the eventual winner. In the end Abbey lost on points even though he had only had is Blue Belt a matter of days!
Christian made it the final by submitting all of his opponents, eventually losing on points (2-0) taking out the silver medal.
